Job Description:
As a Senior AI/ML Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain backend services, data platforms, AI/ML pipelines, and supporting web applications. You will collaborate closely with ML engineers and AI engineers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems that power analytics, AI, and ML-enabled use cases.
Job Specification:
- Develop and maintain AI/ML pipelines, integrating model outputs into backend services and applications
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs to support AI/ML applications
- Integrate AI/ML tools, including agentic frameworks such as Agno or LangChain, into backend services and applications
- Build and enhance web applications that consume backend APIs and AI-driven data products, with minimal frontend requirements
- Optimize database queries, data processing pipelines, and system performance for scalability
- Deploy, manage, and monitor AI/ML applications and data services on cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS or equivalent
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business, data, and AI requirements into technical solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code, with proper documentation
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills and Expertise:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience
- 3–4 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data engineering, or machine learning model development
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining production-grade AI/ML pipelines, backend systems, or data platforms
- Experience integrating AI/ML outputs into production applications
- Experience with agentic frameworks and AI-enabled web applications such as Agno or LangChain is highly preferred
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
- Proficiency in backend development using frameworks suitable for AI/ML services (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, or equivalent)
- Experience integrating AI/ML services, outputs, or large language models (LLMs) into applications
- Experience with agentic frameworks such as Agno or LangChain for AI-driven applications
DevOps & Delivery
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and release processes
- Experience deploying, managing, and operating applications on cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS or equivalent
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability and performance
Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Excellent client-facing communication skills
- Strong skills in translating business, data, and AI requirements into technical implementation
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with US healthcare clients or healthcare data
- Additional experience in data engineering, analytics platforms, or AI pipelines
